Church of God In Darwin has variety of activities being devised and implemented for the Spiritual growth of the communities. Our main activities are;
Sunday Worship – Sunday from 9:45 am to 12:00 pm
“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker” (Psalms 95:6)
Every Sunday we have blessed Sunday service. Ministers of His word expound the word of God for the edification and understanding of the saints, honour and glorify God through pleasant praise and worship, share challenging testimonies about the grace of God, comfort and encourage believers to stand in faith through spirit filled exhortation and make known our needs by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.
Sunday school – Sunday 9:00 am – 10:00 am
How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word” (Psalms 119:9)
In this age of pluralism, it is very important for us to impart biblical spiritual values in our younger generation. So that as they will grow and serve the Lord in their generation. With this aim we have Sunday school on every Sunday 9:00 am – 10:00 am.
Youth Ministry
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).
We have youth meetings once in every 6 Sundays after the worship.
Our Youth Programmes are Word-centered, Church-focused and Family-oriented. Youth Ministry benefits the Young people to hear God’s voice, will learn to minister and share the gospel to others, grow in Christ and encourage each other.
Fasting Prayer – Second Saturday of each month 10:00 am – 12: 00 pm
Fasting prayers are held every Second Saturday of each month randomly at church members house.
Fasting prayers conducted to pray for our church, families, and other nations. This is a chance or the church members to ask forgiveness for sins, to humble ourselves before the Lord and for the spiritual growth of the church.
Cottage Meeting –Wednesday 06:45 pm – 08:00 pm
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalms 133:1)
We have Cottage meetings on every Wednesday 06:45 to 8:00pm. These are meant for building up believers in the Ministry by giving opportunities to develop the potentials that the Lord has given them. As a means for encouraging closer fellowship among the members of the church, the cottage meetings are held in different residences as per the schedule.
